XLR8 AI vs Otterly in 2026: Which AI Visibility Platform is Right for You?

The comparison is really a question about where you are in your GEO maturity. Otterly is the right tool for teams that are establishing a baseline and don't yet have budget or organizational buy-in for a full GEO program — it's cheap, it's honest, and it shows you the data clearly. XLR8 AI is the right tool for teams where the baseline is established and the question has shifted from "are we visible?" to "how do we get more visible, faster, in the models that matter for our buyers?" Those are different problems requiring different tools, not competing tools solving the same problem.

The Core Difference: Monitoring vs Execution

Otterly: Monitoring Platform

Otterly tells you where your brand appears in AI responses. You get:

• Brand mention tracking across 4 LLMs

What you do with that information is up to you. Otterly doesn't help implement changes, create content, or execute optimizations.

The question is whether you need a dashboard (Otterly) or results (XLR8 AI).
